SPIES 2022 was held successfully online in Beijing, China during December 9-12, 2022 !
SPIES 2022 had 4 plenary speeches, 12 keynote speeches, and 52 technical sessions with different topics. We also organized two special forums: Women in Power Forum (Facing the challenges of Novel Power Systems-Inspiring more female engineers) and IEC SC8A Seminar (Seminar on Control Technology and Standardization for Renewable Energy Conversion). During the conference, the General Chair Prof. Hua Geng from Tsinghua University, China was the host. The two Honorary Chairs, Prof. Chenghui Zhang from Shandong University, China, Prof. Shengwei Mei from Tsinghua University, China and aother two professors, Prof. Rong Zeng from Tsinghua University, China and Prof. Zhaohong Bie from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China did the Opening Remarks. Prof. Yusheng Xue from NARI Group Corporation/State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, China, Prof. Xiaohong Guan from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, Prof. Kaushik Rajashekara from University of Houston, USA and Prof. Leila Parsa from University of California Santa Cruz, Jack Baskin School of Engineering, USA have attended the conference as Plenary speakers.
