2023 5th International Conference on Smart Power & Internet Energy Systems will be held in Shenyang, China on December 1-4, 2023.
The International Conference on Smart Power & Internet Energy Systems is one of the principal events for power and energy experts from academia, industry, utilities, power and energy service pro viders, researchers and scientists across the globe to exchange ideas and experiences on emerging and enabling technologies. SPIES 2023 is co-sponsored by Shenyang University of Technology and Northeastern University, China. And it is also technically supported by University of Vaasa, University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard, Changmai Unversity, Universite de Bretagne Occidentable and Auckland University of Technology. Electric power systems are currently undergoing fast and transformational changes. Distributed Generation, Nano-grids, Micro-grids with and without storage are now emerging as common features of today’s complex power system. With the blessing of modern computer, communication, and information technologies, the traditional power system is going to be connected with Smart-grid hub. This conference is a timely event to share your views on energy transformation and discuss these with power and energy leaders from Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa. includes keynote and plenary speeches, tutorials, papers and poster presentation.
Considering the difficulty
of domestic and international travel, SPIES 2023 will be convened in
Hybrid model.
The accepted and presented papers of the 2023 5th International Conference on Smart Power & Internet Energy Systems (SPIES2023) will be published in conference proceedings to be archived into IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, INSPEC, Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science, and others.
Some excellent papers will be recommended to IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications (Impact Factor 3.654). Invited authors need to submit an extended version of the conference paper.
Interested people
in organizing a Special Session should submit the special
session proposal to the Special Session Chair on or before July
10, 2023.
This award
recognizes three (3) best conference papers presented in
the conference. The Conference Best Paper Award Chair
will determine these papers with the help of session
chairs and technical committee members.

Located in the central part of Liaoning Province, Shenyang is the capital of Liaoning Province, famous for heavy industry equipment manufacturing. This city, bordered by the Liaodong Peninsula on the south side and Changbai Mountains on the north side, belongs to Bohai economic circle. With dense high speed railways, expressways and intercity networks, Shenyang has developed a transportation system. With a history of over 2,000 years, Shenyang saw its most prosperous periods when Huang Taiji established the Qing Dynasty (1636 - 1912) in 1636. The Shenyang Imperial Palace, former royal residences and other valuable historical sites including imperial tombs, temples, pagodas and former residences of celebrities.
