2024 6th International Conference on Smart Power & Internet Energy Systems will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on December 4-6, 2024.
The International Conference on Smart Power & Internet Energy Systems is one of the principal events for power and energy experts from academia, industry, utilities, power and energy service providers, researchers and scientists across the globe to exchange ideas and experiences on emerging and enabling technologies. SPIES 2024 is sponsored by Khalifa University, UAE, IEEE IAS and PES. And it is also technically supported by University of Vaasa, Macquarie University, Chiang Mai Unversity, Universite de Bretagne Occidentable, University of Nottingham and Auckland University of Technology. Electric power systems are currently undergoing fast and transformational changes. Distributed Generation, Nano-grids, Micro-grids with and without storage are now emerging as common features of today’s complex power system. With the blessing of modern computer, communication, and information technologies, the traditional power system is going to be connected with Smart-grid hub. This conference is a timely event to share your views on energy transformation and discuss these with power and energy leaders from Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa. includes keynote and plenary speeches, tutorials, papers and poster presentation.
Considering the difficulty
of domestic and international travel, SPIES 2024 will be convened in
Hybrid model.
The accepted and presented papers of the 2024 6th International Conference on Smart Power & Internet Energy Systems (SPIES2024) will be published in conference proceedings to be archived into IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, INSPEC, Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science, and others.
Some excellent papers will be recommended to IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications (Impact Factor 4.4). Invited authors need to submit an extended version of the conference paper.
Interested people
in organizing a Special Session should submit the special
session proposal to the Special Session Chair on or before July
10, 2024.
This award
recognizes three (3) best conference papers presented in
the conference. The Conference Best Paper Award Chair
will determine these papers with the help of session
chairs and technical committee members.

2023. It’s our great honor to invite Prof. Ke
Zhang(President of Shenyang University of Technology )
and Prof. Qiuye Sun(Vice-President of Shenyang
University of Technology ) to do the opening remarks for
SPIES 2023 conference.
SPIES 2023 had 5 keynote speeches, 20 invited speeches(4
invited speech sessions), and 7 technical sessions with
different
topics. During the conference, Prof. Kaushik
Rajashekara(IEEE Fellow)from University of Houston in
USA, Prof. Yang Shi
(IEEE Fellow) from University of Victoria in Canada,
Prof. Hua Geng (IEEE Fellow) from Tsinghua University in
China, Prof.
Xin Lin from Shenyang University of Technology in China
and Prof. Jinliang Ding from Northeastern University in
China have
given excellent Keynote Speeches.
