Qiuye Sun received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and engineering in 2007 from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, where he became a Professor in 2015. He is the Vice-President of Shenyang University of Technology, China. He is IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, National Special Support Plan for High-Level Talents (National "Ten Thousand Person Plan"), and obtained special government allowances of the state council. He is the chair of several important academic conferences in the field of control, including 39th CCC and 2th ICITEL, and the editorial board of many important journals at home and abroad, including IEEE Trans NNLS, IET Cyber-Physical Systems and ACTA AUTOMATICA SINICA. His research interests are energy internet, smart energy and cyber physical systems. He has published more than 200 papers on high-level academic journals. Representative papers were selected as ESI highly cited papers. His paper titled Reduced-Order Transfer Function Model of the Droop-Controlled Inverter via Jordan Continued-Fraction Expansion was selected as one of Best Paper Award for the IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion in 2020-2021. He has won the Award of National Natural Science, National Science and Technology Progress, Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress, and CAA Science and Technology Progress.
