SPIES 2021 was held successfully during September 25-28, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SPIES 2021 was special arranged both virtual and phsical conference.SPIES 2021 is hosted by Shanghai University of Electric Power, and Technically Supported by IEEE Industry Applications Society, South Asia Institute of Science and Engineering, KITAMI Institute of Technology, King Mongkut‘s University of Technology North Bangkok, University of Western Brittany, Federation University and Curtin University. During the conference, Prof. Claudio Cañizares from University of Waterloo, Canada, Prof. Wei-Jen Lee from The University of Texas at Arlington, USA, Prof. Ciwei Gao from Southeast University, China, Prof. Carlo Alberto Nucci from University of Bologna, Italy, Prof Vladimir Terzija from Skoltech, Russia, Prof. Gianfranco Chicco from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, Prof. Shunfu Lin from Shanghai University of Electric Power, China, Prof. Innocent Kamwa from Laval University, Canada, Prof. Ajith Abraham from Director of Machine Intelligence Research Labs, USA and Prof. Ibrahim Dincer from Ontario Tech. University, Canada have attended the conference as keynote speakers.

In addition, many researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world have presented their research results and development activities.
